Susan Charlotte’s She’s of a Certain Age Opens Off-Broadway

Susan Charlotte’s She’s of a Certain Age (formally Women of a Certain Age) officially opens at off-Broadway’s Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row on May 20. Directed by Antony Marsellis and Christopher Hart, Women of a Certain Age is comprised of three short plays: Did You Know My Husband?, Living for Design and Come On. Previews began on April 26 and the limited engagement will continue through June 10.

How old is a women of a certain age? Three women and one man, ranging in age from 40 to 80, face the challenges presented by different stages in life with humor and humanity.

The world premiere production stars Drena De Niro (Wag the Dog and A Day in the Life), Lois Markle (Edward Albee’s Sandbox and True West), Robert Newman (Guiding Light) and Rosemary Prinz (Steel Magnolias and As the World Turns).

The production features scenic design by James Wolk and lighting design by Dennis Parichy.
